As a co-provider we provide the Apply first aid course in partnership with Allen's Training Pty Ltd.

Overview

This course is in partial completion of HLT21107 Certificate II in Emergency Medical Service First Response.

The course incorporates the content of the following units: HLTCPR201A Perform CPR and HLTFA201A Provide basic emergency life support.

Students will learn the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. This course is suitable for those students requiring workplace first aid skills.

Students will be required to complete a workbook prior to attending a one day face to face training session.

Prerequisites

You must have English literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to Cert III in English, IELTS 5.0 or undertake Adept English Assessment. If you are unsure of whether you are eligible, please contact our office and we can arrange for an interview.

Class size approximately 15-20.

Benefits

Successful completion of the course will qualify participants for an accredited, Nationally recognised Statement Of Attainment for  HLTFA301B - Apply first aid.
