Pathology

Pathology is the study and diagnosis of disease through examination of organs, tissues, bodily fluids and whole bodies.

The pathology course will teach you how to collect venous blood samples from a patient, while maintaining strict infection control. Perform ECG's & 24 Hour Holter Monitoring, as well as successfully collect microbiology samples and specimen processing.  

You may choose to undertake just the Perform Blood Collection Course if you already have experience at collecting blood samples or if you are currently working in health care environment where it is a requirement that you perform venepuncture.
