Pathology is the study and diagnosis of disease through examination of organs, tissues, bodily fluids and whole bodies.

Certificate III Pathology will teach you how to collect venous blood samples from a patient, maintain strict infection control, specimen processing and microbiology sampling for clients with different health issues.
ECG's, 24 Hour Holter Monitoring, and other diagnostic and specialised testing procedures are part of the Certificate IV Pathology course.   

You may choose to undertake just the Perform Blood Collection, Cannulation, ECG or Spirometry Course if you already have some experience at collecting blood samples or if you are currently working in health care environment where it is a requirement that you perform these procedures.
