Administer and Monitor Medications
Are you required to administer medications in your hob role? Are you looking to advance your skills and work as an AIN or aged care worker? Our medications course will give you the skills to administer and monitor medications. This course can be undertaken individually, or as part of our Certificate IV in Aging Support. This course includes the units: HLTHPS006 Assist clients with medication and HLTHPS007 Administer and monitor medications
This course will teach you the skills required to administer and monitor prescribed medications to a person with stable health conditions. This may be in a range of settings under delegation from a health profession in accordance with legislation and the organisations medication and delegation policies and practice.
You will need access to a computer with internet connection to complete your qualification.
This course requires you to have a good understanding of written, verbal and spoken English and maths (knows as language, literacy and numeracy 'LLN'). All students who enrol in a course are required to undertake Adept Training's LLN assessment.
Students who wish to undertake this course must be working as and Aged Care work or be currently enrolled in our Certificate IV in Ageing Support course.

- Completed enrolment form
- USI Number
- Photo ID
- Proof of Residency (Birth Certificate, Passport, Green Medicare Card or Citizenship Certificate)
- Language, literacy and numeracy assessment
- Emergency contact
